Active Release Technique (ART)
Release the soft-tissue restriction adjustments can't reach.

Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, hands-on soft tissue system used to find and break up scar tissue and adhesions in muscle, fascia, tendon, ligament, and nerve. The doctor applies precise tension to the tissue while you actively move the limb through a specific range — that combination is what frees the restriction.
Out of pain. Back to function.
When tissue gets injured, overworked, or kept in a shortened position, it lays down adhesions that limit glide, choke off blood flow, and trap nerves. Stretching alone won't fix it. ART restores normal length and slide between layers, which immediately unloads pinched nerves and lets muscles fire correctly. It's why ART is the soft-tissue method of choice for pro and collegiate athletes.
- Targeted treatment to specific muscles, tendons, or nerve pathways
- Active motion from you while we hold tension on the tissue
- Mild discomfort during treatment, immediate relief after
- Typically combined with adjustments and rehab in the same visit
Is ART the same as massage?+
No. Massage works broadly to relax tissue. ART is precise, diagnostic, and aimed at specific adhesions — and it requires your active movement to work.
Will it be sore after?+
Some patients feel like they had a hard workout for 24 hours. That's normal. The function gain usually shows up the next day.
