Vojta Therapy
Activate the body's built-in movement patterns.

Vojta Therapy is a reflex-based neurodevelopmental method developed by Czech neurologist Dr. Václav Vojta. By applying precise pressure to specific zones on the body in a particular position, the practitioner activates innate movement patterns — reflex locomotion — that are hard-wired into the central nervous system from birth.
Out of pain. Back to function.
These reflex patterns include components of normal posture, balance, breathing, and coordinated muscle activation. In adults with chronic pain, postural dysfunction, or movement asymmetry, activating these patterns gives the brain a "clean copy" of how the body should move, often unlocking changes that traditional exercise can't reach. In children, it supports motor development when delays are present.
- A neurodevelopmental exam to identify pattern dysfunction
- Precise positioning on the table with pressure to specific zones
- Active muscle response that the patient doesn't have to consciously control
- A short home program — small daily doses are what create the change
Is Vojta only for kids?+
No. It was originally developed for pediatric neurology, but it's used worldwide with adults for postural, neurological, and chronic pain conditions.
How long until I see results?+
Vojta works through repetition — most patients notice subtle postural and breathing changes within 2–3 weeks of consistent home practice.
